Introducing Buster!

 

He is 7 months old, and we're not sure of breed . . . maybe an Aussie mix?

 

His foster mom has this to say:

"Buster is a 7 month old sweetheart. He loves people and will sit and snuggle on the couch with you with his head in your lap. He has never met a person he doesn’t like. He is wonderful with my 11 year old son.

 

When he’s not napping with his people, Buster is high energy and loves to wrestle and play with our dog Jelly. He runs very fast and looks like he wants to herd our dog. Buster is very interested in our cat and does chase her, however that has settled down in the last week or so. I think Buster could do fine with a cat who isn’t afraid to let him know she doesn’t want him in her face. Buster respects my cat and backs off if she hisses at him.

 

He loves to chew anything he can; bones, chew toys, squeaker toys, and the occasional tree branch. He is very fond of stuffing-free toys with a squeaker in them. Buster is crate trained, though he will whine for the first few minutes. Buster had a groom session with the vet tech students at the Upper Bucks County Technical School and he was a perfect gentleman.

 

He loves food and treats and is very treat motivated for training. Buster knows some commands including “crate,” “come,” and “sit” and he is very intelligent so further training should not be an issue. He also enjoys treat mats and puzzles so he can search for his treats. Buster enjoys having another dog as a playmate but he does need a dog who will let him know when they have reached their play limit. His energy for playing last a long time!

 

Buster will make a great addition to any family."
